George H. Leon, Ph.D. Senior Vice President

George H. Leon is a Senior Vice President of National Analysts Worldwide and a practice leader who heads up a team with primary responsibility for assignments in the Information Technology, Security, Energy, Communications, Automotive and Manufacturing industries. Trained as a sociologist, George has extensive experience in both qualitative and quantitative research techniques. Assignments include large-scale market segmentation and customer satisfaction studies that help client companies develop comprehensive market strategies in complex global business environments and manage their customer relationships. Among these are consulting assignments designed to help client firms restructure their marketing functions for better strategic alignment. These projects frequently encompass client workshops and training seminars geared towards opportunity identification and program design, as well as marketing strategy development.
George has personally conducted thousands of focus groups and individual depth interviews in the US and around the globe. He has led discussions with consumers and business customers on topics ranging from technology adoption, physical security, building materials and contractor services, often focusing on response innovation.
Equally adept at complex quantitative assignments, George routinely designs and directs numerous large-scale customer surveys, including national and international market segmentation, complex trade-off and customer satisfaction studies. He is a specialist in the development of segmented, prioritized marketing databases using predictive equations developed on the basis of the market research. As committed to implementation as he is to strategy, George has authored the National Analysts Worldwide guidebook, "How To Make Your Customer Satisfaction Measurement System Actionable."
Prior to joining National Analysts, George taught a number of graduate and undergraduate courses in sociology, research methods and statistics. He received his B.A. from Rutgers University and received his M.A. and Ph.D. in Sociology from Temple University.
